Aztec Experience Camp

WHAT DOES THE CAMP INCLUDE?

Known for its near-perfect climate, San Diego provides the ideal setting for swimmers to improve their stroke technique this summer and have some serious fun! Campers train daily at the Aztec Aquaplex, home of the San Diego State Swimming and Diving Team.

The focus and design of the curriculum at the Aztec Swim Camp is to provide competitive swimmers an exciting week of camp where they are challenged to improve their stroke technique through mental, technical, and physical training. Each Camper receives personalized stroke instruction from the Aztec Coaching Staff as well as a video analysis of all four strokes. Guest lectures addressing motivation, nutrition, and goal-setting will also be covered.

The Aztec Swim Camp is open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you have competitive swimming experience and can swim at least 50 yards in all four competitive strokes: fly, back, breast and freestyle.

Highlights Include

  • Intensive emphasis on racing tactics plus starts and turns
  • Low camper to staff ratio
  • Every camper receives an Aztec Camp T-shirt and Swim Cap
  • Every camper is eligible to receive merit-based prizes during camp
